Care at Home
Please follow these instructions for care after your Laser Vision Correction procedure.
Immediately After Surgery
The Weeks following Surgery

Do not rub or touch your eyes.
Please go directly home and sleep for 6-8 hours.
You will be given a post procedure kit that includes sunglasses to wear home and to sleep the first evening.
You may experience some discomfort such as tearing and burning. If you are having pain you can take over the counter pain medication i.e. Tylenol or Advil
No eye drops the first evening. The day following your surgery you will be given a combination antibiotic/anti-inflammatory eye drop called Tobradex. Use the drops as instructed by the doctor.
If a contact lens is placed in your eye the doctor will remove it the day following your surgery. If the contact lens falls out of the eye, do not try to replace it.
