Standardization or ISO. ISO provides assurance about quality,
safety and reliability and provides the foundation for continual
improvement.
Early in 2000, the Windsor Laser Eye Institute became one of
the first and few refractive centres in North America to achieve
ISO 9002:1994 certification. Then in October 2003, the Institute
earned ISO 9001:2000 certification, a management system focusing
on enhancing customer satisfaction.
With ISO certification we have a quality management system
in place to ensure we maintain high standards of patient care
and service. ISO certification also indicates our commitment
to enhance customer satisfaction by encouraging patient feedback
and responding to fulfill their needs.
This level of quality assurance speaks to the expertise of
Dr. Fouad Tayfour and the determination of the Windsor Laser
